Bharat Tex 2024: PM Modi inaugurates Bharat Tex 2024, more than 100 countries participate

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Bharat TEX-2024 at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. It is one of the largest global textile events ever held in the country. Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Darshana Jardosh also participated in this program along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

 

Three-day program begins

Bharat TEX-2024 will be organized from 26 February to 29 February 2024. Let us tell you that taking inspiration from the Prime Minister's 5F vision, this program has an integrated focus from farm to abroad through fiber, fabric, and fashion. Which covers the entire textile value chain.

Program based on 5F

Speaking at the inauguration, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "Today's event is very special in itself, especially because it is being held simultaneously in India's two largest exhibition centers, Bharat Mandapam and Yasho Bhoomi."

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "We are linking all the elements of the textile value chain with 5F. This 5F is Farm, Fiber, Factory, Fashion and Foreign. In a way, the whole scene is in front of us, keep this principle of five F in mind." Keeping this in mind, we are encouraging farmers, MSMEs, and exports. We have also amended the definition of MSMEs in terms of investment and turnover, this will increase the scale and size of the industries. Even after being big, they will not be eligible for government schemes. Will be able to get the benefit."

 

He said, “Today, more than 3000 exhibitors, 3 thousand buyers, and 40,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries have come together to participate in this event. The event is a great opportunity for members to meet and share their views across the textile ecosystem. It has become a platform for
