Bihar: Journalist murdered in broad daylight, criminals called him out of the house and shot him; Sarpanch was a witness in the murder case

Daily newspaper journalist Vimal Yadav (36) was murdered in broad daylight at Raniganj in Araria. The criminals got the main gate opened by climbing on the door of the house. As soon as the journalist came to the gate, he was shot in the chest. There was a stir in the area after the murder. There was a crowd of people around. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and got involved in the investigation.

 

Rupesh, lodged in Supaul jail, conspired to kill

The police have been involved in the investigation of the case. Relatives say that Rupesh, who was lodged in Supaul jail, had conspired to kill. He had ordered the murder from jail itself.

Vimal was the main witness in their brother's murder

Relatives say that Gabbu Yadav, the younger brother of Vimal Yadav, was murdered 4 years ago i.e. in April 2019. At that time Gabbu Yadav was the Sarpanch of Belsara Panchayat. Vimal was the main witness in the murder case of his brother. A speedy trial of the case was going on. Vimal was to be the chief witness. Suddenly he was murdered. The family members say that the one who got Gabbu Yadav killed, had ordered Vimal's murder. After the testimony, the accused was afraid that he might not be sentenced to life imprisonment, so he did this to escape.

 

Vimal was always haunted by the fear of murder.

The family alleges that Vimal Yadav had also applied for a gun license for his security. The gun license could not be obtained even after applying several times. The relatives alleged administrative negligence. A week ago also Vimal had told his friends that his life was in danger. Some criminals are constantly followed by them. I am afraid that the criminals might kill him too. Vimal was the only support of his parents after his brother's death. After the incident, the family members are in bad condition. In the case, Araria SP says that the incident was carried out by two criminals. Both have been marked. Raids are going on in search of both. Will be arrested soon.
