Delhi government will start Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana from next year. Under this scheme, women above 18 years of age will get ₹ 1000 every month. A provision of Rs 80 crore has been made for the elderly people's pilgrimage.

Delhi's per capita income in 2014-15 was Rs 2.47 lakh. It has increased to 4.62 lakh in 2023-24, which is two and a half times more than the national average.
