A layer of fog was seen in the area around Akshardham. Where AQI has been recorded at 378, according to CPCB, the level of pollution is in the 'very bad' category. Anand Vihar- 382, ​​Bawana- 401, Ashok Vihar- 380 AQI has been recorded. These figures are till eight in the morning. On the other hand, poisonous foam is seen floating in the Yamuna River in Kalindi Kunj, Delhi. Due to this the level of pollution in the river remains high. Doctors say that the level of pollution has increased with the cold weather. Due to the pollution particles at a low level, people are having difficulty in breathing. People who did not have any problems earlier are also getting troubled by this.

 

Visibility was recorded at 500 meters in Safdarjung.

 

Smog and haze in the capital have increased the trouble of the people. Due to this, visibility is being recorded very low. As winter is approaching, the visibility is declining. On Sunday, the visibility in Safdarjung was 500 meters in the morning. Which is usually more than a thousand meters at this time. At the same time, 700 meters of visibility was recorded in Palam between 5:30 am and 6 am. Due to this, people had to face difficulty in seeing far in the morning. Drivers faced the most trouble. Also, due to smog, people had to face problems in breathing. Not only this, irritation was also felt in the eyes.

 

Pollution level in NCR including Delhi

 

According to CPCB, due to seasonal changes, there was an improvement in air quality. In such a situation, the Air Quality Index (AQI) has been improving for three consecutive days. Due to this, AQI was recorded at 334 on Sunday. However, the air is still very bad. It has decreased by 18 index points compared to Saturday. On the other hand, there is a drop of 46 index points compared to Friday. On the other hand, Faridabad had the cleanest air in NCR. Here the AQI was 122, which is in the medium category. After this, improvement in air was seen in Ghaziabad. Here the AQI was 232. On the other hand, Gurugram had 260, Greater Noida had 249, and Noida had 220 AQI. People breathed bad air in these cities.

 

The share of stubble increased in air pollution.

 

The air was very bad in 24 areas including Bawana, Anand Vihar, and Ashok Vihar and the air was bad in two areas. The ventilation index was 3200 cubic meters per second. The ventilation index is expected to be 7000 cubic meters per second within 24 hours. According to the Decision Support System (DSS), the share of pollution caused by transport in the air was 11.994 percent, and the share of pollution caused by burning garbage was 1.117 percent. Whereas on Saturday, the share of stubble smoke was 20.556 percent. Whereas on Friday it was 17.814 percent. According to the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), the winds blew from south-east to east. During this time the wind speed was 4 to 8 kilometers per hour. On Monday also the wind is expected to blow from the south-east direction. During this time the wind will blow at 4 to 8 kilometers per hour. On Tuesday, the winds will blow from different directions.

 

Fog will prevail along with smog.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that smog, light to moderate fog, and haze are likely in the morning at some places on Monday. Possibility of smog-haze in the evening and night. During this time the sky will remain mainly clear. In such a situation, the maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 32 and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. Mild cold is being felt in the morning and evening in the capital. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 18.4 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal. The lowest minimum temperature of 14.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at the Ridge.
