BJP, which often attacks parties doing family politics in Haryana, has got entangled in its own web this time.

As part of its strategy to gain power for the third time, the BJP has given tickets to the family members of 10 leaders in this election battle.

In the previous elections, BJP has been accusing the big political families of Haryana of doing family politics. Now BJP is going to be the target of these political families in the election battle.

Sons and daughters of these veterans got tickets.

BJP has broken its tradition of one family ticket in Haryana by giving a ticket to Aarti Rao, daughter of Union Minister of State Rao Indrajit from Ateli. Shruti Chaudhary, daughter of Rajya Sabha member Kiran Chaudhary, who left Congress and joined the BJP, has been fielded by the BJP from Tosham assembly seat.

Bhavya Bishnoi, son of former MP from Hisar and Bhiwani Kuldeep Bishnoi, will contest from Adampur. Kuldeep himself is not contesting the assembly elections this time, but the BJP has often accused Bhajan Lal and Kuldeep Bishnoi of nepotism in the past.

Kishan Singh Sangwan's son candidate from Baroda

Kishan Singh Sangwan's son Pradeep Sangwan, who was an MP from Sonipat in the INLD-BJP coalition government, has been given a ticket by the party from Baroda assembly seat, while Devendra Kaushik, brother of former Sonipat MP Ramesh Kaushik, has been fielded from Ganaur assembly seat.

Harinder Singh Ramratan, son of former MLA Ramratan, has been fielded from Hodal, and Shakti Rani Sharma, wife of former Union Minister Vinod Sharma and mother of Rajya Sabha member Kartikeya Sharma has been made the candidate by BJP from Kalka assembly seat of Panchkula district.

Kartar Singh Bhadana and Avtar Singh Bhadana are known for doing politics of different parties. Former minister Kartar Singh Bhadana's son Manmohan Singh Bhadana has been given a ticket by the BJP from Samalkha, while former cooperative minister Satpal Sangwan's son Sunil Sangwan is the candidate from Charkhi Dadri.

Former MLA Naresh Kaushik's brother Dinesh Kaushik has been fielded from Bahadurgarh. Union Minister of State Krishan Pal Gurjar is trying to get a ticket for his son Devendra Chaudhary from Faridabad NIT. To give Devendra a ticket, he based his decision on the ticket given to Rao Indrajit's daughter Aarti Rao.

10 sons of three Lals of Haryana in the electoral fray

Although Manohar Lal is the only one in his family to do politics, the political descendants of Bhajan Lal, Bansi Lal, and Devi Lal are already nurturing the politics of nepotism. So far, 10 sons of three Lals of Haryana have jumped into the electoral fray.

Six people from Devi Lal's family are contesting from Sirsa and Jind seats. Abhay Singh Chautala is contesting from Ellenabad, his son Arjun Chautala from Rania, and cousin Aditya Chautala from Dabwali.

JJP leader and former deputy CM Dushyant Chautala is contesting from Uchana Kalan and his brother Digvijay Chautala from Dabwali. Former power minister Ranjit Singh Chautala is contesting as an independent from Rania.

In Chaudhary Bansi Lal's family, his granddaughter Shruti Chaudhary is contesting from Tosham on a BJP ticket. Bansi Lal's grandson Anirudh Chaudhary is contesting from the same seat on a Congress ticket.
