Amid the uproar over adulteration in Tirupati temple prasad, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has written a letter to PM Modi complaining about Chandrababu Naidu. Jagan has also sought the PM's intervention to reprimand Naidu. Calling Chandrababu Naidu a habitual liar, Jagan Reddy wrote a letter to PM Modi and said that Naidu has stooped so low that he has hurt the faith of crores of people only for political purposes.

Detailing the process of accepting ghee at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), the custodian of the ultra-rich temple of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, Jagan Reddy alleged in an eight-page letter that Naidu's actions have not only lowered the stature of the CM but also the sanctity of TTD and its practices in public life.

The whole country is looking at you: Jagan.

Jagan wrote in the letter sent to PM Modi, 'Sir, the whole country is looking at you at this crucial juncture. Mr Naidu must be severely reprimanded for his shameless act of spreading lies and the truth be brought out. Sir, this will help remove the doubts created by Mr Naidu in the minds of crores of Hindu devotees and restore their faith in the sanctity of TTD.'

Giving details of the case to PM Modi, Jagan Reddy said that the allegedly adulterated ghee was rejected and not allowed to enter the premises of TTD. However, Naidu raised the issue at a political party meeting on September 18 with malicious intent.

Naidu had made the allegation.

Notably, during the NDA Legislature Party meeting a few days ago, the TDP supremo claimed that the previous YSRCP government did not even spare the Sri Venkateswara temple and used substandard ingredients and animal fat to make laddus.
