While inaugurating the Gujarat Vibrant Summit, on one hand, the PM called upon foreign investors to invest aggressively in India based on the record of his government in the last ten years, and on the other hand he also asked the Indian corporate sector to dream big.
'India will be the world's third-largest economy in a few years'
Modi said, "The bigger your dream, the bigger will be my resolution." PM Modi attributed this progress to the steps taken during the ten years of his tenure. He identified India's current banking system as the strongest in the world. At the conference, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani announced an investment of Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat in the next five years. Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani made five promises for investment in Gujarat. On behalf of his company, he announced to development of renewable energy in Gujarat in such a way that by the year 2030, 50 percent of the total energy requirement of Gujarat can be met through environment-friendly fuel.
