Gujarat Vibrant Conference: India becomes the center of global development, PM Modi said- 'The country will be the third largest economy in the world in a few years'

PM Narendra Modi has said that in this era of global instability, India has established itself as a ray of hope and is being seen as an engine of global development, a reliable friend, and stability.

 

While inaugurating the Gujarat Vibrant Summit, on one hand, the PM called upon foreign investors to invest aggressively in India based on the record of his government in the last ten years, and on the other hand he also asked the Indian corporate sector to dream big.

'India will be the world's third-largest economy in a few years'

Modi said, "The bigger your dream, the bigger will be my resolution." Symbolically speaking towards those who doubted the prospects of India's progress, he said, this is my guarantee that India will lead the world in the next few years. Will become the third-largest economy. Gujarat Vibrant Summit was started 20 years ago by PM Modi the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

 

The UAE President also participated in the event

UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed attended the event this year as the chief guest. He also addressed this conference, although he rarely addresses international conferences. Even at the recently concluded COP-28 (Conference on Environmental Protection) in Dubai, he did not give any speech. It also reflects the strengthening relationship between India and UAE and the relationship between Modi and Sheikh Mohammed.

 

'Vibrant Gujarat Summit Global Platform'

PM Modi also addressed the UAE President as his 'Bhai' (brother) several times in his speech. The UAE President said that the Vibrant Gujarat Summit has become a global platform to share information and experiences related to economic development and investment. President of Mozambique and PM of Czech Republic Petr Fiala and President of Timor-Leste Ramos-Horta were also present at the opening ceremony of the conference. PM Modi said, “Today, in the rapidly changing world order, India is moving forward in the role of ‘world-friend’.

 

'India emerged as a new ray of light in the world'

Today India has given confidence to the world that we can set common goals and achieve our goals. India's commitment to world welfare, India's loyalty, India's efforts, and India's hard work are making today's world more secure and prosperous. Today the world looks at us as a pillar of stability, a reliable partner for people-driven development, a growth engine of the global economy, and a hub for solving problems through technology.

 

In this sequence, Modi further said, “Today every major rating agency of the world estimates that India will become the top three economies of the world in the next few years. Whatever analysis the people of the world do, I guarantee that it will happen. At a time when the world is surrounded by many uncertainties, India has emerged as a new ray of light in the world.

 

Mukesh Ambani made five promises for investment in Gujarat

PM Modi attributed this progress to the steps taken during the ten years of his tenure. He identified India's current banking system as the strongest in the world. At the conference, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani announced an investment of Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat in the next five years. Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani made five promises for investment in Gujarat. On behalf of his company, he announced to development of renewable energy in Gujarat in such a way that by the year 2030, 50 percent of the total energy requirement of Gujarat can be met through environment-friendly fuel.
