Inauguration of Shivamogga Airport: PM Modi said - the day is not far when countrymen will travel in 'Make in India' aircraft

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Karnataka on Monday. He first inaugurated the Shivamogga Airport here. The PM extended birthday greetings to former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa, who was present on the dais here. During this, the PM greeted him with folded hands.

 

What did PM Modi say?

PM Modi said, "Today I once again got the opportunity to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth thousands of crores related to the development of Karnataka. Today Shivamogga has got its airport, it is very grand and beautiful. It is just an airport." It is not a campaign, but a new flight of dreams of the soldiers of this region.

Earlier, when the development of Karnataka used to be discussed, it was limited to big cities only, but our government is working to take development to the villages of Karnataka, to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.

The Prime Minister said Air India was known for scams during the Congress rule. Used to be in the form of a loss-making business model, but today 'Air India' is taking a new flight, a new height in the world as a new capability of India. The PM said, "The Congress never had such a thought that even small towns should be connected with air connectivity. Today many small towns in the country have modern airports. You can imagine the speed at which the BJP government is working. " Infrastructure with good connectivity is going to create new employment opportunities in this entire region.

 

'Government tap water campaign for mothers and sisters'

PM Modi told the specialty of tap water campaign. "Today, a big campaign is going on to make life easier for the mothers and sisters of Shivmoga and this region. This campaign is to provide water from the tap to every house. The BJP government is the government of villages, the poor, and farmers, BJP's government is a government that works for the welfare of the poor. BJP's government is a government that follows the path of self-respect of mothers and sisters, opportunities for mothers and sisters, and empowerment of mothers and sisters."

 

PM Modi will release the 13th installment to the beneficiaries under PM-Kisan in Karnataka today

A press release issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare on Sunday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 13th installment to the beneficiary farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) scheme on Monday, under this installment Rs 2000 will be given to the farmers.
