Russia: Russia's big attack, said- Western countries destabilized the activities of G20, used against Russia

Russia on Sunday alleged that the G-20 finance ministers' meeting in Bengaluru ended without any shared government information because of the West's collectively confrontational approach to Moscow over Ukraine.

A meeting of G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors ended without a joint statement on Saturday as Russia and China failed to agree on a joint statement. However, at the end of the meeting, India, as the Chair of the G-20, released the summary and outcome document.

The Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement referred to the constructive role of India's presidency and said it tried to objectively consider the interests and positions of all countries. It added that in this context it adopted a balanced approach, which forms a sound foundation to respond to modern challenges in finance and related sectors while supporting economic growth and the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

"We regret that the activities of the G-20, united by the West, are being destabilized and used in a confrontational manner against Russia," the statement said. Our adversaries (especially the US, the European Union, and the G-7) continue their insane efforts to isolate Russia and blame Moscow for problems in the field of international security and the global economy, Russia alleged.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also accused Western countries of spreading absurd assumptions about the situation in Ukraine.
