The last Test of the ongoing five-match Test series between India and England (Ind vs Eng 5th Test) will start on March 7 in Dharamshala. The Indian team has already captured the series 3-1 by defeating the English team by 5 wickets in the Ranchi Test, but the England team would like to save its pride by winning the last Test match.

Ind vs Eng Test: Ashwin and Johnny will play the 100th test match of their career in Dharamshala.

Actually, in the fifth Test match of the five-match Test series between India vs England (Ind vs Eng Test), Ravichandran Ashwin and England's Jonny Bairstow will make a special record in their names. R Ashwin and Johnny will take the field to play their respective 100th Test matches in Dharamshala. This will be the third time in the 147-year history of Test cricket that players from two different teams will play the 100th match of their Test career in the same match. Earlier such a feat had been done in the year 2013 and 2006.

 

In the year 2006, Shaun Pollock and Stephen Fleming played their 100th Test match together in the Test match between New Zealand vs South Africa. At the same time, in the year 2013, Alastair Cook and Michael Clarke played their 100th Test match in a match between England and Australia in the Ashes series.

If we talk about Ashwin's Test career, he has so far taken 507 wickets while playing 99 Test matches, in which his average was 23. His best bowling figures were 7/59. At the same time, Jonny Bairstow has scored 5974 runs while batting while playing 99 matches in Test.
