Indian team's opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal had scored a double century in the first innings of the Vizag Test. Great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was also impressed after seeing his century. Yashasvi has revealed after India's victory in the second Test that he spoke to Sachin Tendulkar after this stormy century.

 

Yashasvi told me that I talked to Sachin Tendulkar. He congratulated me and told me to keep working hard. He told me that this is an important time for me and continuity is very important. Sir supported me and I praise him. Thanks for the well wishes.

 

Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a double century

Yashasvi Jaiswal batted on the entire first and second day of the second Test against England. He scored 209 runs on 290 balls. He became the third youngest Indian player to score a double century in Test cricket. Yashasvi's innings included a total of 19 fours and 7 sixes. During this period his strike rate was 72.
