Cummins is not captain of Australia in the T20

Markram is the captain of Sunrisers in SA20

Cummins is the third captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last three seasons. In 2022, under the captaincy of Kane Williamson, the team finished eighth. He was released before the 2023 season. Last season, Markram took the command and now Cummins will be seen doing it. In the 2023 IPL, Markram was also a flop with the bat and was able to score 248 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 129.
Daniel Vettori is the new head coach of the team
Apart from this, Sunrisers Hyderabad has made another big change. The franchise has also changed the head coach. Former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori has been appointed as the new head coach and Brian Lara has been removed. In 2023, Lara became the coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad team in place of Tom Moody. Apart from this, it has also been revealed in media reports that bowling coach Dale Steyn has asked for a break, and in such a situation, former Kiwi all-rounder James Franklin can be appointed as the bowling coach.
