There is no doubt that the Aditya Dhar-directed films Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar: The Revenge minted money at the box office, and the second installment continues to set new records with its earnings.

However, Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 have also faced their share of criticism. While on one hand, people are showering the films with praise, on the other, they are being labeled as propaganda. Several celebrities have come forward to criticize the films. Now, a controversy has erupted over the reaction of renowned filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.

Dhurandhar Viewers Labeled as Nazis

Vishal Bhardwaj recently reacted to a social media Reel critical of Dhurandhar; a screenshot of this interaction went viral, and he is now facing severe trolling. Specifically, a Reel has been circulating on social media that compares the fans and viewers of Dhurandhar to the Nazis of Germany. Vishal Bhardwaj allegedly ‘liked’ this Reel.

Vishal Bhardwaj’s Reaction Goes Viral

A user on the platform X (formerly Twitter) shared a screenshot of the anti-Dhurandhar Reel, clearly showing Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘like’ on it. The user wrote on X, “The Haider director, Vishal Bhardwaj, has liked a post that compares the audience of Dhurandhar to the Nazis of Germany. Zakir Khan was right—Dhurandhar has certainly caused a lot of heartburn for everyone.”

Consequently, Vishal Bhardwaj is now being heavily trolled across social media platforms. One user commented, “Why such extreme jealousy?” Another remarked, “The funniest part is that the lifetime collection of O Romeo is roughly equivalent to the paid preview collection of Dhurandhar 2.” Yet another user quipped, “He should also like the Reel asking, ‘Why did you watch O Romeo?’” In this manner, people continue to troll the filmmaker.
