It is not so easy to stop Russia: why is Ukraine left alone in the war? After all, why are America and NATO afraid of colliding directly with Putin?

Ukraine is left alone in the war in Europe. He is facing the wrath of Russia. Russian tanks are standing just 30 kilometers from the Ukrainian capital. US intelligence agencies fear that, within 96 hours, the capital Kyiv will be captured by Russia and within a week the government of Ukraine will also be toppled. In such a situation, the question arises that, why did the US-backed Ukraine become so isolated in this war? After all, why are NATO member states and the US holding back from directly confronting Russia? Why are they simply limited to rhetoric and sanctions, rather than a direct attack?

It's not easy to collide with Putin

It is not easy for any country to collide with Russian President Putin. America knows this too. This is the reason why America directly said that it will not send its army to Ukraine. A similar message has been given by NATO as well. This means that Ukraine will have to fight this war alone.

America had warned of dire consequences

When Russia was preparing to attack Ukraine. When troops were being deployed on the borders, America was most furious. Biden had even said that if Ukraine is attacked, NATO member countries will attack Russia together and its consequences will be very bad, but Russia did not back down from these threats and started military operations on Ukraine. Since then, neither America nor any member country of NATO has come forward to directly confront Russia.

Why are European countries afraid?

European countries are withdrawing from a direct attack on Russia. The main reason for this is the dependence of these countries on Russia. Indeed, European countries are largely dependent on Russia for energy. Several EU countries, which are also NATO members, get 40 percent of their natural gas supplies from Russia. In such a situation, if Russia stops the supply of gas and crude oil, then Europe will be on the verge of a major energy crisis. Inflation on electricity and petroleum products can break the back. All countries know this. That is why European countries are reluctant to directly confront Russia.

No significant effect of sanctions on Russia

Sanctions are being imposed on Russia by America and many other countries. Despite this, Russia is not ready to stop. Russia has increased its power in such a way that, this country is not going to be affected much by any kind of sanctions. This is also one of the reasons why America and NATO countries do not attack directly. Russia's international currency reserves stood at $630 billion in January. More interestingly, only 16 percent of this is kept in dollar form. Whereas, five years ago it was 40 percent.

China's support

China is one of the most powerful countries in Asia. The relationship between Russia and China has grown in the last few years. America knows this too. At the same time, America has already acquired enmity with China. In such a situation, if there is a direct attack on Russia, then it will get the support of China. Therefore, the confrontation between powerful countries will be harmful to everyone.

nuclear power Russia

Russia is a nation with nuclear power. Apart from this, he has a large stock of weapons. Russia has one of the largest armies in the world. At the same time, Russia has the power to crush anyone with its missile technology. Putin has already said that if anyone interferes in the Ukraine issue, he will see the worst consequences in history. That's why the US and NATO member states know that a confrontation with Putin would mean great devastation.
