Corona Updates: 13,166 new cases, 302 deaths in 24 hours in the country; Canada approves first indigenous corona vaccine

In the last 24 hours, 13,166 new cases of the corona were found in the country, 26,968 patients were cured and 302 people died. At the same time, the number of active cases, that is, the number of patients undergoing treatment, has come down by 15,163. A day before this, on Wednesday, 14,148 new cases were found and 302 people died. At present, there is a total of 1.34 lakh active cases in the country.

 

Canada on Thursday approved the first indigenous Covid vaccine. The vaccine, named Covefinz, has been made by biopharmaceutical firm Medicago and its partner company GlaxoSmithKline. Medicago CEO Takashi Nagao described the Covefinz vaccine as an important milestone for Canada in the fight against the pandemic.

Because of the decreasing corona cases in Delhi, the corona restrictions can be abolished. A decision regarding this will be taken in the meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to be held on Friday.
