Kartik Aaryan's horror comedy film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' has waved the flag of success at the box office. The huge success of the franchise has also increased Kartik Aaryan's brand value a lot. Kartik has learned from the success of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' that leading a franchise is a smart strategy to keep the audience engaged. He is also going to use this knowledge in his next project 'Aashiqui 3'. The new update on the film has taken the excitement of the fans to the peak.

The film was announced in 2022

The third installment of the romantic drama 'Aashiqui' franchise, 'Aashiqui 3', was announced in the year 2022. Since then, a lot has been revealed about the film. Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Bhatt planned to produce the romantic drama led by Kartik Aaryan. At the same time, Anurag Basu took over the direction of it. But then a dispute started among the producers about who should get the ownership of the franchise.

The name of the film changed this year.

However, in the month of March this year, T-Series publicly announced its decision to independently support Kartik Aaryan and Anurag Basu's film. It was renamed 'Tu Aashiqui Hai' and removed from the 'Aashiqui' franchise. At the same time, now it seems that Kartik Aaryan has unexpectedly changed the direction of the story.

Kartik Aaryan's initiative for 'Aashiqui 3'

According to a media report, the success of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' has confirmed the actor's belief in the power of the franchise. He advised Bhushan to contact Mukesh Bhatt to get the title. Aryan is sure that he will get the title. It is also known that Kartik Aaryan is keen to present 'Aashiqui 3', the third installment of the romantic drama 'Aashiqui' franchise, as a standalone film.

The success of 'Aashiqui' franchise

Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal became famous within hours of 'Aashiqui' released in 1990. T-Series and Bhatt's Special Films produced 'Aashiqui 2' (2013), which reunited Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor. The insider claims that Bhushan is now trying to figure out how to move forward with Bhatt given Aaryan's eagerness to lead the franchise. This is one of the reasons why the shooting of the film will have to wait till next year. It will also star Tripti Dimri in the lead role. This way, Tripti and Kartik will be seen sharing screen space once again after 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'.
