He said, 'Today we all are witnessing a historic journey. Some time ago the country became acquainted with its four Gaganyaan passengers for the first time. These are not just four names and four humans, these are four forces carrying 140 crore aspirations into space. After 40 years, an Indian is going to go to space. But this time the time is also ours, the countdown is also ours and the rocket is also ours.

India is taking off to become the top three economies of the world

He further said, 'I was very happy to know that most of the equipment used in Gaganyaan is 'Made in India'. What a great coincidence it is that when India is taking off to become the top three economies of the world, at the same time India's Gaganyaan is also going to take our space sector to a new height.

PM Modi said that women's power is being given great importance in our space sector. Be it Chandrayaan or Gaganyaan, no such mission can be imagined without women scientists.
