Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi reached Haridwar on Saturday to give the edge to the party's election campaign. He attended the Ganga Aarti after holding a virtual rally here. This caused a lot of enthusiasm among the party workers and candidates.

Rahul Gandhi made these four promises

During the virtual rally at Bhagat Singh Chowk, Rahul Gandhi said that we are making four promises to you. Will give employment to four lakh people. The cost of the domestic cylinder shall not exceed Rs. If our government comes to Uttarakhand, we will implement the Nyay scheme in the state, under which forty thousand rupees will be given every year to five lakh families. Rahul Gandhi made the fourth promise of providing medical facilities at the doorstep. Said that we had promised a loan waiver to the farmers of Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Punjab and we did that.

During his address, Rahul Gandhi said that a few days ago I had said in Parliament that two countries of one country are being made. Rahul said that the plans of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are making two countries. In which a country belongs to the elected capitalists. Whatever private airplane Mercedes thinks, it can be found. The second Hindustan is laborers and small traders. But we will not allow two Hindustans to be made, he said. We will implement the Nyay scheme. He said that the one who is the Prime Minister talks to the people and listens to the voice of the people. Narendra Modi is not the prime minister, he is the king of the 21st century.

After addressing the rally, Rahul Gandhi reached Harki Paidi and performed Ganga Pujan. During this, he also performed Jalabhishek.

Election campaign at its last zenith

The campaigning for the assembly elections is reaching its final climax. Although the election campaign is being done with restrictions due to the Kovid guideline, now former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi reached Haridwar on Saturday evening to campaign on behalf of Congress.

Rahul Gandhi held a virtual rally at Jawaharlal Nehru National Youth Center located at Bhagat Singh Chowk. After this, he went to Harki Paidi to attend the Ganga Aarti. Congress State General Secretary Anshul Shri Kunj said that due to the Kovid protocol, only 1000 workers directly participated in the program. But the people of the state remained involved in the rally through a virtual medium.

Passes were issued to selected 1000 leaders who attended the public meeting. In this, all the 11 candidates of the district and big leaders of the state were involved. Two entrances were made to enter the public meeting place.
