The ministry said such reports are being circulated that PM Modi may attend the SCO meeting. No official decision has been taken in this matter nor has the ministry made any comment. Host Pakistan has sent an invitation to PM Modi for the SCO meeting. Bilateral talks between the two countries have stopped after the terrorist attack on the Pathankot airbase in 2016. After this incident, India has repeatedly said that it will not hold any talks with Pakistan as long as terrorism continues.
