Aftab Amin Poonawalla, accused of murdering his live-in partner Shraddha Walker, currently lodged in Tihar Jail, today joined the proceedings in Saket court through video conferencing. Aftab kept using Shraddha's mobile for about a month. However, he did not call but had WhatsApp chatting. Once Shraddha's friend Laxman had put a WhatsApp message on the mobile, then the accused posing as Shraddha had told Laxman that she is busy now, and will talk.
Later he messaged Laxman that Shraddha had left him. After this, he took Shraddha's mobile and SIM to Mumbai and threw them into the sea. At that time he had gone to shift the goods from the rented house in Mumbai. The police have not yet received Shraddha's mobile and SIM.
