The government will deal strictly with any form of misleading information, rumors, or malicious propaganda regarding the Char Dham Yatra.

Treating such matters under a "zero-tolerance" policy, strict legal action—including the immediate filing of an FIR—will be initiated against the culprits. Furthermore, social media platforms are being monitored round-the-clock throughout the week.

During social media monitoring in the Rudraprayag district, a video came to light in which false information was being circulated, alleging that devotees were being denied *darshan* (holy viewing) at Kedarnath Dham.

In this specific instance, an FIR has been registered against the individual involved, and legal proceedings have been initiated. Additionally, four to five other suspicious videos of a similar nature have been identified.

The systematic, safe, and successful conduct of the Char Dham Yatra remains a top priority for the government.

Necessary directives have been issued at every level to ensure that every devotee enjoys a smooth and organized *darshan* experience, achieved by strengthening pilgrim amenities, healthcare services, traffic management, disaster safety protocols, and digital monitoring.

It has come to the government's notice that certain anti-social elements are attempting to mislead the general public and tarnish the state's image by circulating misleading, unverified, and baseless video content regarding the Char Dham Yatra on social media platforms.

In one such instance at Sonprayag in Rudraprayag, an FIR has been registered, and an investigation has commenced. The other four to five suspicious videos are currently undergoing a thorough investigation.

Banshidhar Tiwari, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister and Director General of Information, stated that the arrangements for the Char Dham Yatra are functioning completely smoothly, and devotees are being facilitated for *darshan* in an organized manner. He emphasized that no form of misleading information, rumors, or malicious propaganda will be tolerated.

Devotees and social media users are urged to rely solely on information obtained from official sources and to refrain from sharing misleading content.
