Workers in Delhi will get leave from work between 12 noon to 3 pm, salary will not be deducted; LG gave the order amidst scorching heat

Given the severe heat, Delhi's Deputy Governor VK Saxena has ordered paid leave for laborers and workers from 12-3 pm.

 

The LG has criticized Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal or his ministers for not taking any steps for the "Summer Heat Action Plan" even in such extreme heat.

The maximum temperature in Mungeshpur is 49.9 degrees Celsius

The national capital Delhi is burning with the heat of the sun and the heat waves have made people miserable. On Tuesday, the situation was such that the maximum temperature in Mungeshpur located in Narela and Bawana area reached 49.9 degrees Celsius.

 

According to the Meteorological Department, this is the highest temperature ever recorded in any area of ​​Delhi. However, the average maximum temperature was 45.8 degrees, which is five degrees more than normal. This is the highest in four years.

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has given instructions to provide an adequate amount of water and coconut water to the workers at the construction site. Along with this, instructions have also been given to keep water in pitchers at the bus stand. LG said that even when the temperature in the capital reached around 50, Chief Minister Kejriwal and his ministers remained careless.
