This case is of 5 July 2025. Major Bachwala Rohit, working in the Military Hospital of Jhansi, left for his home in Hyderabad. Then at Jhansi railway station, Major Rohit saw a young woman groaning in pain. The woman was pregnant and was having labor pains. In such a situation, Major Rohit, with his wisdom, got the delivery of the woman done by putting a towel at the railway station itself.
According to the Army,
Using his medical skills and wisdom, Major Rohit got the emergency delivery done. With the help of towel, knife and hair clip, he got the delivery of the woman done at the railway station itself.

What did Major Rohit say?
While talking to news agency ANI, Major Rohit said, "I am a medical officer in the Army and am currently working at the Military Hospital in Jhansi. I reached Jhansi station to go home on my leave. Then I saw a woman there who came out of the lift in a wheelchair. I immediately reached her."
According to Major Rohit,
"The woman was having labor pains. It was not possible to take her to the hospital from there. I decided to conduct the delivery at the railway station itself. I had a towel, a hair clip, and a knife. I was successful in conducting the delivery. Even after the delivery of the child, the mother was in pain, but her happiness knew no bounds."
