Other people who came in contact with the new infected are also being traced. Between November 25 and December 23, around 33,000 travelers from Britain arrived in India. Of these 114 people be corona positive so far. New genomes are being detected in some more samples.
Maharashtra government said - no case of a new strain in the state
The new mutants of Corona found in Britain have no patients in Maharashtra so far. Maharashtra Surveillance Officer, Epidemiology Department, Dr. Pradeep Awate said that so far the state has been spared from the new variant of Corona.
