What is the formula to promote 10th and 12th students?
According to the fixed formula, 10th students will be promoted by giving 50% marks out of the marks obtained in 9th and 50% marks obtained in the 10th preboard. At the same time, students of class 12 will be promoted by giving 50 percent marks in high school, 40 percent in 11th, and 10 percent marks in 12th preboard. There are 29 lakh, 94 thousand 312 candidates, in class 10th, while there are 26 lakh 10 thousand 316 candidates in class 12th.
Earlier on Thursday, CBSE had told the formula to promote Inter students in the Supreme Court. According to the formula, the 12th result will be decided based on the marks obtained in class 10th, 11th, and 12th. CBSE has said that 30-30 percent marks will be given based on three main subjects of class 10th and 11th, while 40 percent marks will be given from 12th preboard. The results will be declared by July 31.
