There is considerable excitement among film enthusiasts regarding South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming film, Varanasi. The film is being directed by S.S. Rajamouli, the director behind the all-time blockbuster franchise, Baahubali. Varanasi was officially announced last year during a mega event.

Now, various speculations have begun circulating regarding the film's release date. Meanwhile, several media reports have shared the latest information about the release date of S.S. Rajamouli's Varanasi. Let's find out when this movie might be released in theaters.

When could Varanasi be released?

Along with making a great film, selecting the right release date is equally important. This is why filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli is now focused on finding the perfect release date for his next film, Varanasi. According to reports from film industry sources, Rajamouli and the film's producers are considering releasing Varanasi next year on Ram Navami.

Since actor Mahesh Babu is playing a character who is an incarnation of Lord Rama in the film, the producers feel that Ram Navami is the most suitable date. However, no official announcement has been made regarding the release date yet. Furthermore, Rajamouli plans to shoot some parts of the film in and around the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

However, this depends on the kind of permission they receive from the government and administration for the shooting. Actress Priyanka Chopra, the "desi girl" of Hindi cinema, is making her comeback to Indian cinema with this film. This will be Telugu actor Mahesh Babu's first pan-India film.

Guaranteed Box Office Success

Most of the films directed by S.S. Rajamouli have been commercially successful. For example, you can name Baahubali, Baahubali 2, and RRR. It is also being speculated that Mahesh Babu's Varanasi will also be a box office hit.
