Where China had set a defense budget of $ 230 billion (about Rs 18.25 lakh crore) in 2022, Taiwan's defense budget was only $ 16.8 billion (about Rs 1.33 lakh crore). China is currently the second largest country after the US in terms of the defense budget. Due to this, China is far ahead in terms of war weapons in the world.
The difference in tanks between China and Taiwan is about five times. China currently has 5,250 tanks, while Taiwan has 1,110 tanks.
China is also far ahead in terms of guns. China has 5854 guns against Taiwan's 1667 guns.
On the other hand, China has a fleet of 3285 aircraft, including fighter jets, combat helicopters, choppers, and transport jets, while Taiwan has 741 warplanes. Divided into different classes, China has 1200 fighter aircraft, while Taiwan has 288 fighter jets.
