As soon as Pelosi's tour began, China also started maneuvers in the Gulf of Taiwan. It has been told that the Chinese army has surrounded this small island from six places. However, despite this, China has not yet attacked Taiwan. Nor has there been any announcement related to waging war against him.
This is not the first time that China has tried some tricks to intimidate Taiwan. Dragon has tried to intimidate him before by sending fighter jets in Taiwan's airspace and sometimes warships within its maritime boundary.

It is through this gulf that the population of 139 crore people of China stays apart from the population of 23.6 crores in Taiwan. Talking about the systems of China and Taiwan and the ideology that runs them, is a big reason for the conflict between the two. While China is almost completely a dictatorship, Taiwan is one of the countries with the best democracy in the world. China is most concerned about this quality of Taiwan. Indeed, one of his fears is that if the demand for a successful democratic model for Taiwan begins to arise in China, it will be a direct challenge to the power of the Communist Party. Dragon's second fear is that if Taiwan's democracy becomes an example for some other countries, then the world may become vocal about its dictatorship and human rights violations.
What is the difference in the military strength of China and Taiwan?
1. Military Budget
Now let's talk about the military strength of China and Taiwan. Taiwan is part of China under China's One China Policy. But the system here is completely different from mainland China. That's why Taiwan is sometimes called an autonomous region. The difference in the strength of the two sectors can be understood only from their defense budget. Where China had set a defense budget of $ 230 billion (about Rs 18.25 lakh crore) in 2022, Taiwan's defense budget was only $ 16.8 billion (about Rs 1.33 lakh crore). That is, there was a difference of more than 15 times in the defense budget of both countries.
2. Soldiers figure
Now if we compare the soldiers kept for war in both areas, then it comes out that while China has more than 20 lakh, active soldiers, Taiwan has 1 lakh 70 thousand active soldiers. However, Taiwan has three times the number of reserve troops as China. Where Taiwan has 1.5 million reserve soldiers, the number of reserve soldiers in China is 5 lakh 10 thousand.
3. Combat Weapons
China is currently the second largest country after the US in terms of the defense budget. Due to this, China is far ahead in terms of war weapons in the world.
The difference in tanks between China and Taiwan is about five times. China currently has 5,250 tanks, while Taiwan has 1,110 tanks.
China is also far ahead in terms of guns. China has 5854 guns against Taiwan's 1667 guns.
On the other hand, China has a fleet of 3285 aircraft, including fighter jets, combat helicopters, choppers, and transport jets, while Taiwan has 741 warplanes. Divided into different classes, China has 1200 fighter aircraft, while Taiwan has 288 fighter jets.
Among helicopters, too, China has almost four times the number of 912, Taiwan's 208.
Even in the sea, China's power is more than Taiwan's. China has 777 different types of ships in its maritime fleet, while Taiwan has 117 ships. These include warships, aircraft carriers, and submarines to spy ships.
What if America joins the China-Taiwan war?
If America interferes in the war between China and Taiwan, then China will automatically get into a lot of trouble. In fact, according to the Global Power Index, America is the most powerful country in the world. Taking its budget alone, it is three times more than China. The number of its active and reserve soldiers is less than China, but America is far ahead in terms of tanks and aircraft. The US is also behind China in terms of a naval fleet, but it has more modern submarines, aircraft carriers, and destroyers than China.
