The temperature may increase in the Konkan region and other parts of the West
The Meteorological Department has predicted a rise in temperature in the Konkan region and other parts of the west in the next few days. Weather patterns changed due to the effect of western disturbance and anticyclone
Naresh Kumar, the senior scientist of the Meteorological Department, said, “There has been a slight drop in temperature by 1-2 degrees due to the effect of western disturbance on Monday, but it is several degrees above normal. He said that the anticyclone is also moving over the Arabian Sea. So we do not get any great relief from the above-normal temperature. Mahesh Palawat, vice-president of climate and meteorology at Skymet Weather Services, a private forecaster, said the wind pattern at the surface remained southwesterly, bringing warm, dry winds.
