How It Used To Be

I saw her during recess

And then again at lunch

I kinda liked to tease her

I'd always dodge her punch

I said I didn't like her

But it wasn't true

I liked to be around her

Without her I was blue

Then at lunch, we'd sit together

With our lunches made

From our caring mothers

Damn I miss first grade

We fight we struggle

We kick and scream

Please let us back in

And wake us

Speak The Language Of Your Heart

Each day we wake is such a gift;

No moment's guaranteed.

Tomorrow isn't promised,

With the clash of arms and the bugle's ca

Hope Is The Thing With Feathers

"Hope" is the thing with feathers -

That perches in the soul -

And sings the tune

Night Noises

My parents' bedroom is far from mine, so I have to wonder

What the noise is every night t

Have A Good Day

May your blessings be many

and your troubles be few.

And may you feel God's prese

He Is Hurting Too

He's tired of the pain.

He's tired of every lie.

He's tired of the countless nigh

A Word To Husbands

 To keep your marriage brimming

 With love in the loving cup,

 Whe

A Thing Called Love

You know the thing... right?

The thing that makes you feel good

The thing that ma

Our Love Is True

In the night

I hear your voice,

but try to fight

to keep my noise.
