Just Another Year

The years are taking their toll.

Another birthday has now arrived.

People you meet say you're still looking young.

With a smile, you wink and say, "Nice try."

 

You have a few more aches and pains.

A different one each day.

Your eyesight's none too clever,

And your hearing has started to fade.

 

Your memory has gone on vacation,

Although you no longer travel too far.

You try to avoid meeting old friends

Because nowadays you forget who they are.

 

Yes, birthdays used to be special.

When you're old, they're not as much fun.

You no longer want to rejoice and party.

Your mind's still willing, but your body has gone.

When first we touched,

My heart flew high,

On gossamer wings through a cloudless

You Say You Love Me

You tell me you love me

but call her just as soon

I feel like in this game I can'

I Am Worthy

I am worthy. There is nothing

that can or will happen today that

could convince m

Together we may struggle

but without you all I feel is pain.

Sometimes I may seem

Candy Love

Fly away with me, my dove

To a forbidden place where the skittles meet the rainbow.

Just For Today

 Just for today,

 Can we forget about race,

 Colour, religion

Love On Reserve

We knew love had no space.

No choice, but to force it into

tight space. We handle

King For A Day

I'm resting here quite regally,

The feature of the table.

Surrounded by potatoes

First Love

I ne'er was struck before that hour

With love so sudden and so sweet.

Her face it

Never Give Up

Never give up,

Never give in.

Move onward and upward with strength from within.
