TIMES OF GRIEF

Posted on 16th Feb 2014 07:03 pm by admin

A day it came, a day it went
Pain and cry, all left in grief
Scar it made, it hides behind
Still shows the stain with dreary face

Friends they were both kith and kin
All lost at stretch with eyes all filled
Painted red were streets and straits
All tells the tale of grisly deeds.

Distress, anger and fear around
Shaken we were at all one go
Hand in hand let's stand behind
With martyrs them, they gave it all.

Shoulder we gave for heads to cry
For sure we knew that all were one
Arms wide stretched and open hearts
Stood all true in words and deeds.

Time has come for us to rise
Time to prove that we won't fail
With pride atop let's hold arms tight
It's time to shine and see all fine.
