Shimla, Jan 7 (IANS) A severe cold wave continued to grip the high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh Wednesday despite dry weather. Keylong was the coldest in the state with a minimum temperature of minus 8.1 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature in the state capital Shimla was four degrees Celsius and the maximum settled at 12.6 degrees Celsius.
Kalpa in Kinnaur district saw a low of minus 2.8 degrees Celsius, while it was 4.9 degrees Celsius in Dalhousie, two degrees Celsius in Chamba and minus 1.6 degrees Celsius in Manali, a Met office release said.
The Met office said the dry weather would continue till this weekend.
