Patna's MLC Karthik Kumar, who was made Law Minister in CM Nitish Kumar's cabinet, has been removed from his post. At the same time, Karthik has now been entrusted with the responsibility of a ministerial post in the sugarcane industry department of Bihar. An order has also been issued from the Cabinet Secretariat regarding the changes in the portfolios of both the new ministers. Karthik was surrounded by controversies
On August 16, there was a lot of controversy over the appointment of Karthik Kumar as the Law Minister of Bihar. A warrant was issued against him for absconding in a kidnapping case. After which the BJP was quite an attacker after Karthik Singh was made a minister. Even the Congress and the Left parties involved in the Grand Alliance had raised objections to Karthik Singh being made a minister.
