Bihar Politics: Law minister of Bihar government removed, CM Nitish Kumar's big decision on Tejashwi's advice

Patna's MLC Karthik Kumar, who was made Law Minister in CM Nitish Kumar's cabinet, has been removed from his post. In place of Karthik Kumar, Dr. Shamim Ahmed, Minister of Sugarcane Industries Department, has been made the new Law Minister. At the same time, Karthik has now been entrusted with the responsibility of a ministerial post in the sugarcane industry department of Bihar. An order has also been issued from the Cabinet Secretariat regarding the changes in the portfolios of both the new ministers. Let us tell you that till September 1, the High Court had granted bail to Karthik Kumar.

 

Karthik was surrounded by controversies

 

On August 16, there was a lot of controversy over the appointment of Karthik Kumar as the Law Minister of Bihar. A warrant was issued against him for absconding in a kidnapping case. After which the BJP was quite an attacker after Karthik Singh was made a minister. Even the Congress and the Left parties involved in the Grand Alliance had raised objections to Karthik Singh being made a minister. On the other hand, Nitish Kumar had also made it clear in the matter that he would not take any decision on this matter. The decision that has to be taken will be taken by Tejashwi Yadav only. Now Tejashwi Yadav has taken a big decision to put an end to the controversies.

 

Notification issued by Cabinet Secretariat

 

On behalf of the Cabinet Secretariat, Chief Secretary Amir Subhani has issued a notification by order of the Governor. It has been told that in the exercise of the powers conferred by Article 166(3) of the Constitution and as per Rule 6(1) and 7(1) of the Executive Rules made under the Constitution, on the orders of the Governor, on the advice of the Chief Minister, Karthik Kumar In place of Law Department, Sugarcane Industries Department and Sugarcane Industries Minister Dr. Shamim Ahmed have been allotted the work of Legal Department.
