An order has also been issued from the Cabinet Secretariat regarding the changes in the portfolios of both the new ministers. Karthik was surrounded by controversies
On August 16, there was a lot of controversy over the appointment of Karthik Kumar as the Law Minister of Bihar. A warrant was issued against him for absconding in a kidnapping case. Even the Congress and the Left parties involved in the Grand Alliance had raised objections to Karthik Singh being made a minister.
