Today is the announcement of the closure

Anjuman Intejamia Mosque has announced the closure on Jumma day (Friday) against the order of the District Judge for worship in the Gyanvapi basement. Along with this, people have been appealed to maintain peace and restraint.

Muslims will protest by keeping businesses closed

In a letter issued by Abdul Batin Nomani, General Secretary of Anjuman Intejamia Masjid, it has been said that there is resentment among Muslims over allowing worship in the southern basement of Gyanvapi. In protest against this decision, Muslims will peacefully keep their businesses closed on Friday and call for prayer from Friday prayers till Asr prayers. Along with this, everyone has been appealed to maintain peace. Do not pay attention to any kind of rumor.

Three thousand soldiers took care of security from road to streets

On Thursday, there was a complete closure in two big markets of the city and a partial closure in one area. Friday prayers are to be held on Friday, hence the police intensified preparations from Thursday night itself. However, till now everything has been normal. DCP RS Gautam held a peace committee meeting in Jaitpura, Adampura, and Chowk police stations till late at night, while Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order Chinappa Shivasimpi assured people of security by marching on foot in Muslim areas.

Religious leaders were called to the Peace Committee meeting. The Deputy Commissioner of Police asked people to avoid rumors. If a person of any religious sect spreads rumors, inform your police station. Internet media like WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, etc. are being monitored. So be careful, a small mistake will put you in trouble. Additional Police Commissioner Law and Order said that everything is normal. As a precautionary measure, we are holding meetings and foot marches, so that a message can be given to the people.

Intelligence agencies continued reconnaissance

Amidst the security alert, intelligence agencies continued to reconnoiter the situation in the crowded area. Even in plain clothes, the policemen kept an eye on the conversations of people in the crowded area, but nothing disturbing came to light from anywhere.
