Covid ICU Bed Full In Some Private Hospitals Amid Increased Corona Cases, Delhi Government To Review

New Delhi: Corona figures continue to rise in the capital Delhi. According to the data released by the Health Department of the Delhi Government, on Monday, the highest number of cases have been registered so far this year. In such a situation, the number of ICU beds available for corona in some big private hospitals is decreasing. Because of this, the Delhi government has also held a review meeting for the status of the Covid beds today.

 

 

Giving information, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that Covid Beds will be reviewed today and arrangements will be made for it today itself. He informed that a lot of ICU beds and ventilators are empty in government hospitals. There is a shortage in some private hospitals, it will be rectified in the review meeting. There are also patients from Delhi and outside, most of those who are seriously ill come to Delhi only.

According to the Corona app of the Delhi government, a total of 5 thousand 797 corona beds are available in Delhi's hospitals till March 30 at 11 am. Out of these, 1 thousand 609 beds are admitted, while 4 thousand 188 beds are vacant. The total number of ICU beds without ventilator is 1 thousand 225. Of these, patients are admitted on 374 beds and 851 beds are vacant. At the same time, the total number of ICU beds with ventilators is 785. Of these, 254 beds are admitted and 531 beds are vacant.
