Yogi Adityanath speech: What is the real meaning of words like Nandi, Krishna, Mahabharata, and Kauravas, what answer does the opposition have?

After the consecration of Ram Lalla, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made another tremendous move of Hindutva on the chessboard of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. It is not easy for the opposition to find a solution to this. What the Chief Minister said in response to the opposition's allegations on the motion of thanks on the Governor's address in the budget session of the Assembly is important and has far-reaching implications. Along with giving an example to the opponents, there is also hidden advice in it. Despite this, no stone has been left unturned in cornering the opposition.

This would probably be the first time that a Chief Minister has given such a speech in the Assembly making the Hindutva pitch. This is not just a political statement. Every word of this speech, which has become the property of the Legislature, is now going to remain in the constitutional record for a long time. Based on this, this speech will serve as a major reference on "Hindu Politics" in the future for researchers on Indian culture and history not only in the country and the state but also around the world. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech at the time of consecration in Ayodhya on January 22 was about solving the equation of 24 by giving Hindutva color to casteism, Yogi's speech in the Assembly on February 7 seemed to further brighten that color with facts and arguments.

Implications of Kashi and Mathura

It is not right to repeat the sentences, but CM Yogi tried to answer the opposition by using words like "Nandi", "Krishna", "Mahabharata", and "Kaurav" and linking them with the symbols of Indian culture. Options have been limited. Especially when Akhilesh Yadav, head of the main opposition party SP in Uttar Pradesh, the state with the highest number of 80 seats in the Lok Sabha, claims to be a descendant of Krishna. However, nothing is impossible in politics. But, in a very clear manner, Yogi tried to give advice not only to the politically identified opponents like SP, BSP, Congress, and Left but also to the socially identified opponents by mentioning Mahabharata. Without understanding it, it will be difficult to understand the future direction of politics.

Political analyst Prof. AP Tiwari says that on the pretext of the changes in Ayodhya and the situation in Kashi and Mathura, the Chief Minister seems to be advising the opponents not to stand with the policies of the invaders. Although he did not use the word directly, perhaps his feeling was that Ayodhya, Kashi, and Mathura are also symbols of Sanatan culture and civilization. Therefore, the followers of Sanatan Dharma cannot get satisfaction without erasing the marks of attack by foreign invaders.

How will the opposition respond?

If Akhilesh Yadav stands with the BJP's vision on the Krishna Janmabhoomi of Mathura, his Muslim votes are in danger of getting dispersed and if he does not do so, the BJP will take away his Hindu votes by attacking his claim of representing the Yaduvanshis or being a descendant of Krishna. Will try to break into it. Even though Yogi did not take the name, he tried to say that to get Muslim votes and to please them, the development of Ayodhya, Mathura, and Kashi was ignored during the rule of non-BJP parties. Yogi seems to be successful in explaining that like Ayodhya, the case of Kashi and Mathura is not just about converting a temple into a mosque by some invader but about a conspiracy to destroy the respect, identity, and identity of folk faith and Sanatan culture. It would be better to drop the conflicting claims on these two places, otherwise the matter will move forward. These words of Yogi seem to be inviting the leaders of non-BJP parties, who call themselves bigger Hindus than Modi and Yogi, to play on the pitch of Hindutva and share in the votes of Hindus. But, even if he wants to, he cannot do so because there is a danger of his Muslim votes slipping.

At present BJP seems to be winning

Given the crowd arriving in Ayodhya after the consecration and given the permission given by the court to worship Archana in the basement of Vyas ji in Varanasi recently, Chief Minister Yogi's speech also seems to hide many other deep implications. Yogi asked the opposition, “Are Shabari and Nishadraj, not PDA (Backward-Dalit and Minority)?” "The one who is targeted by asking questions. The opposition will have to make a lot of efforts to avoid that. It is clear from Yogi's speech that even after consecration, Hindutva is going to become a stronger issue in the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP will be in the fray with the fact of fulfilling a big promise, but along with all the arguments and facts in its kitty, it will also have assurances for other places like Kashi and Mathura. Also, Hindutva will be strengthened with social engineering with examples like Nishadraj, Shabari, and Jatayu. There are also indications that on the concept of Ramraj's resolution, on the example of 'Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Vishwas-Sabka Prayas', he responded to the opposition's politics of caste arithmetic by working for the poor, women, and youth and farmers. Will go. Now, when Ram, Krishna, and Shiva will also resonate as issues in the elections, then it should be expected that not only from North to South but also from East to West.
