The Bombay High Court has approached former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, who has made sensational accusations of extortion on Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. Parambir Singh has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court against his transfer and Anil Deshmukh on Thursday. Earlier, Parambir Singh had filed a petition in the Supreme Court, but from there he was asked to go to the High Court.

During the hearing, the Supreme Court questioned Parambir Singh's lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, why did you come directly to the Supreme Court, why did you not go to the High Court.
