Earlier, the Supreme Court has advised Parambir Singh to go to the High Court, describing the matter as serious. The Supreme Court said that we are allowing the petitioner to withdraw the petition.

The court said that they have demanded a hearing in the High Court tomorrow. If you give this application, then the High Court should see when the hearing can be held. During the hearing, the Supreme Court questioned Parambir Singh's lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, why did you come directly to the Supreme Court, why did you not go to the High Court. On this, Rohatgi said that we will go to the High Court, order the hearing tomorrow.

What happened in the court during the SC hearing?

The court questioned Param Bir's lawyer Mukul Rohatgi - Why did he come directly to the Supreme Court? Why not make Deshmukh a party?

Rohatgi - I will file a revised application making Deshmukh a party in half an hour. Now I answer directly on coming to the Supreme Court. This is an issue affecting the country. The NIA is investigating the Antilla explosive case. Another IPS Rashmi Shukla Deshmukh has been accused of corruption in transfer/posting.

Justice Kaul- The problem is that no state is implementing our decision in Prakash Singh (Police Reform) case. Let it be, but the question is, why did you not go to the High Court?

Another lawyer who applied in the case, Sadavarte - We have filed a petition in the High Court. The matter should go there itself.

Rohatgi - The problem of pressure on the police is national. Officials in Bengal have also said such a thing.

Justice Kaul- High court also has power. Go there

Rohatgi - We will apply in the High Court today. You should give instructions for the hearing tomorrow itself.

Court order - We asked why did not make Deshmukh a party. Rohatgi said to give the amended application. But we think that the High Court can look into this matter. We agree that the matter is serious. We are allowing the petitioner to withdraw the petition. They have demanded a hearing in the High Court tomorrow. If you give this application, then the High Court should see when the hearing can be held.
