During the economic crisis in Pakistan, the political uproar is also increasing. There is news from Lahore that former PM of Pakistan and President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan can be arrested anytime. A large number of police forces have gathered outside his house.
Amid apprehensions of Imran's arrest, his supporters also started reaching his house in Zaman Park, Lahore. This has created a situation of tension there. Because of the protest, the police are holding a front around the house. The supporters who have been standing since the whole night are also shouting slogans.
First know why Imran's arrest...
Imran Khan is accused of buying cheaply and selling the gifts deposited in Toshakhana at a higher price. Regarding this, the Election Commission of Pakistan has declared him disqualified for 5 years. His parliament membership has also been canceled. Imran supporters protested violently outside the Election Commission (EC) office against this decision, in which some people were also injured. After this incident, a warrant was issued against Khan under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
On August 20, during a rally in Islamabad, Imran openly threatened a woman judge and police officers. Meanwhile, the legal team of Imran's party PTI has filed a bail application in the Islamabad High Court even before the arrest of Khan.
In this case, Imran Khan was to appear in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) two days ago, but he did not appear. After which the court ordered them to arrest him. After this Imran went to Lahore High Court. Where during the hearing on Thursday, the court rejected his petition.
Imran said - do not give up
On the other hand, Imran has told his supporters that never give up, no matter how hard life is, no matter how much pain you feel, the pain will eventually subside, and nothing lasts forever, so keep going And don't give up.
