Mumbai's explosive batsman Sarfaraz Khan got a chance to wear the jersey of the Indian Test team after a long struggle of 3 years. Sarfaraz Khan made his debut in international cricket brilliantly. Sarfaraz got a chance to debut against England and in the debut match, he stole the show by batting brilliantly in the first innings.

 

Sarfaraz completed his fifty in just 48 balls. Sarfaraz Khan could not convert his innings into a century at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot and was run out due to a mistake by Jadeja. After the match, a video of him was shared by BCCI on its X (formerly Twitter), in which he is seen talking to his younger brother Musheer Khan on a video call.

Actually, in the video shared by BCCI, it is seen that Sarfaraz Khan talked to his younger brother Musheer Khan on a video call after the debut test. Sarfaraz had no idea that Musheer was on the video call. As soon as he picked up the video call, he said, Musheer, how are you brother? I am fine brother. Was he playing right? So Musheer says number one brother, it was fun. My heart became happy. After this Sarfaraz says, come on, you too will come here one day Inshallah.

Along with this, Sarfaraz said that when I am struggling to score runs, I watch Musheer's batting, because we both have similar batting. Come on brother, is everything okay at home? It was great to talk to my brother. Half the family here and half there.

 

After the end of the first day of the IND vs ENG third test, Sarfaraz Khan said that it felt really good. I came on the field and was given a test cap. I was 6 years old when I started playing cricket. My dream was to see me playing for the Indian team. Now, this dream has come true.

 

Let us tell you that his wife Romana and his father Naushad Khan had reached the stadium to support Sarfaraz Khan. Father Naushad told that the jersey numbers of Sarfaraz and Musheer are 97 only. Musheer recently took the field wearing a 97 jersey in the Under-19 World Cup. Regarding the same number of jerseys of both the brothers, the father said that nine means 9 and Shad means 7, hence jersey 97 of both was chosen.
