If Rohit hits another six in the match against West Indies, he will become the batsman with the most number of sixes in ODIs on Indian soil. Rohit has already left behind Sachin Yuvraj and Ganguly in this matter. On the other hand, Virat can leave Sourav Ganguly behind in this matter. Both of them have hit 57 sixes so far.

 

Rohit's tremendous comeback after getting fit

However, after getting fit, the 34-year-old Rohit made a tremendous comeback and scored 60 runs in 51 balls in the first ODI against West Indies. It included 10 fours and a six. Afridi holds the record for most sixes

He has hit 331 sixes in 294 innings of 301 ODIs. Sanath Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka is at number three. This veteran opener hit 270 sixes in 433 innings of 445 matches. Rohit is just 25 sixes away from Jayasuriya's record.

 

Dhoni hit 229 sixes in their ODI career

Rohit is at number four. At the same time, former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is at number five with 229 sixes in 297 innings of 350 ODIs. Dhoni and Jayasuriya have retired. At the same time, Chris Gayle has been away from international cricket for a long time. Apart from Rohit and Dhoni, there are two more Indian players in the top-10 most sixes in ODIs. It also includes Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly. Tendulkar (at number 9) hit 195 sixes and Ganguly (at number 10) hit 190 sixes.

At the same time, Rohit has scored 9265 runs in 228 matches for the Indian team at an average of 49. If he scores 114 runs in Wednesday's match, then he will leave Azharuddin behind in the matter of scoring the most runs in ODIs. At the same time, he will reach number six in terms of scoring the most runs in ODIs.
