Pakistan makes repeated attempts to incite terrorism in Kashmir, but they have to face the Indian security forces every time. A similar effort was made on Thursday as well. The army killed three Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists who had infiltrated Pakistan from Jumagund village along the Line of Control in district Kupwara during an encounter.

The slain terrorists are yet to be identified but a huge quantity of arms, ammunition, and incriminating material has been recovered from the encounter site. Confirming the killing of all three terrorists, IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the killing of these terrorists immediately after the infiltration is a big success. He also congratulated the army and police for this.

Police sources say that these terrorists had infiltrated Indian territory from Jumagund village adjacent to the Line of Control at night. When some people of the village saw suspicious activity outside the village, they informed the police. The police also without wasting time started searching for the terrorists along with the army personnel. At one place, a face-off between terrorists and security forces started. The firing started from both sides. The security forces asked the terrorists to lay down their arms but they continued the firing.

Meanwhile, the security forces killed all three one after the other during the siege of the three terrorists. These terrorists associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba had come to Pakistan to accelerate the terrorist incidents in Kashmir after taking weapons training. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that the three terrorists are being identified.

Let us tell you that on Wednesday, three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists, who were going to carry out a suicide attack in Srinagar, were gunned down by the security forces in a 15-minute encounter in the Kariri area near the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway. All three terrorists killed were Pakistanis. During this, a policeman also became a sacrifice. According to sources, during the clash, an accomplice of the terrorists escaped and is being searched.

At the same time, the sacrificed policeman played an important role in solving the mystery of the terrorist attack on the liquor shop in Baramulla and apprehending the terrorists. Apart from this, he has also been involved in many operations. Let us inform you that out of 70 terrorists killed in various encounters in Kashmir so far this year, 22 are Pakistani terrorists.

Around 10.30 am, a joint working group of police and army had blocked the Najibat crossroads near Kariri on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road in north Kashmir. During this, a group of terrorists started passing from there in a silver-colored car. The terrorists felt that they were completely trapped and started firing on the Naka party. The Naka party also retaliated. The shots were fired from both sides for about 15 minutes. During this, a policeman Mudassir Ahmed was seriously injured. After the firing stopped, the soldiers searched the encounter site. They found the bodies of three terrorists riddled with bullets there. Meanwhile, the injured policeman was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him a sacrifice. It is being told that there was another accomplice of the terrorists in the car. He can be their guide or an overground worker. He escaped during the encounter. The owner of the car has also been identified and efforts are on to nab him.

Were active in the Gulmarg-Kunjar area for three months: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that these three terrorists were coming towards Srinagar to carry out the plot of a major attack.
