BJP will support caste census in Bihar, CM Nitish has called an all-party meeting on June 1

The BJP has made its position clear before the all-party meeting regarding the caste census in Bihar. The BJP on Wednesday made it clear that it would support the caste census in Bihar. CM Nitish Kumar has called an all-party meeting on June 1. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that a meeting is going to be held on June 1 under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Almost all the parties are in favor of the caste census.

 

The minister said that after the decision is taken in the meeting, a meeting of ministers will have to be called regarding its implementation. Therefore, it will be brought to the meeting of the Council of Ministers. After that, the government will try to implement it.

The minister said that all the parties have agreed on the caste census. Talks have been held with all the parties. People from all parties will participate in the meeting to be held on June 1. BJP has never opposed caste census.

 

Earlier, Vijay Kumar Chaudhary had told on Tuesday that an all-party meeting is going to be held on June 1. It is to be known that the Chief Minister had recently announced to convene an early meeting on the caste census. The minister also said that the proposal of the government to send the recommendation of conducting a caste census to the central government has been passed twice in the assembly.

 

In this regard, the all-party delegation led by the Chief Minister has also requested to meet the Prime Minister. The central government expressed its inability to do this due to the delay. Then the Chief Minister had announced that if all the parties agreed, then the state government was ready to get it done from its level. In this regard, after consulting all the parties, this meeting has been called in the 'Samvad' room in Patna at 4 pm.

 

It is to be known that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had said in a conversation with reporters on Monday that we want to conduct a caste census from the beginning. This time it will be approved by the cabinet after meeting all the parties and taking a decision. Then the work on it will be started. Everyone's opinion will be taken in the meeting that how to conduct the caste census in a better way. The government has also made full preparations for this, but only after taking everyone's opinion, the proposal will be brought to the cabinet. After that work will be started on it.
