The members of the Central Military Commission discussed several tasks aimed at promoting transformation in the Army. Including the issue of continuously expanding and intensifying operations and war exercises, and more rigorously carrying out war preparations.

The meeting comes at a time when North Korea is expected to hold a military parade on Wednesday to mark the 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army.
