A few days ago, the police arrested Shariful Islam (30 years old), the accused of attacking Saif Ali Khan, from Thane, Mumbai. He is a Bangladeshi citizen who was living illegally in India by changing his name. He had changed his name to Vijay Das. On January 16, this man entered Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's house with the intention of theft and later attacked the actor with a knife.

Shariful Islam, who has been arrested by the police for attacking Saif Ali Khan, his father Ruhul Amin says that the boy seen on the CCTV is not his son. Yes, the Mumbai police who have arrested him is his son. After this statement of Ruhul Amin, Saif Ali Khan's case can take a different turn.

The police arrested Shariful based on CCTV footage. The police had said that Shariful was identified as the attacker only after a long process. But now the attacker's father has given a different statement. He is not accepting the boy in the CCTV footage as his son.

 

Saif's statement was also taken.

Saif Ali Khan suffered several injuries in the attack. He underwent surgery at Lilavati Hospital. Doctors also removed the sharp knife stuck in Saif Ali Khan's spine. Saif was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, five days after the attack. The police also reached the actor's house to take his statement.
