
Melbourne, Feb 7 (IANS) Australia spin legend Shane Warne's son Jackson proved he is a chip of the old block Saturday, claiming a hat-trick playing for his school Brighton Grammar in an Associated Public Schools of Victoria cricket match against Xavier College.
The teenager took four wickets in five balls, which evoked wholesome praise from his famous dad.
"Jackson did it !!!!. Hatrick, what a classic, now has 4 wickets in 5 balls," Warne senior tweeted, following it up with another tweet: "Hatrick to this guy @jackson_warne18 !!! Absolute classic, then went on to get 4 wkts in 5 balls, very cool !!!! Well done buddy.... ????
By claiming the hat-trick, Jackson emulated his famous dad who also achieved the feat on the fifth day of the second Ashes Test of 1994-95 here.
