Chasing Punjab's target of 158 runs, RCB registered an easy win by scoring 159 runs for three wickets with seven balls to spare with a 103-run partnership for the second wicket between Virat Kohli (73 not out, 54 balls, seven fours, one six) and Devdutt Padikkal (61 runs, 35 balls, four sixes, five fours).
Earlier, Punjab Kings scored 157 runs for six wickets in 20 overs. Opener Prabhsimran Singh was the top scorer for Punjab with 33 runs while Shashank Singh scored an unbeaten 31.
