There is a possibility of wind and light rain in some places in the state on Friday and Saturday. Agricultural meteorologists of HAU have advised to stop irrigation and spray for two days because of the changing weather. After this, the weather will remain changeable on Sunday, and from March 15, the weather is expected to be generally dry and clear.
Rain, and snowfall in Kashmir for the second day, cloudy in Jammu
The process of rain and snowfall continued in Kashmir for the second day on Thursday. In most of the districts of Kashmir, the day temperature has increased by 5-8 degrees below normal. In many districts, the day temperature has gone below 10 degrees. It remained cloudy throughout the day in many districts of the Jammu division, but the heat also remained intact. The Meteorological Center Srinagar has warned of heavy rain and snowfall in parts of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday as well. In UP too, the weather is ready to turn once again. Amidst the fluctuating temperature, people were troubled by strong winds throughout the day on Thursday. The wind speed was 15 km per hour. Due to this, the day temperature fell and the night temperature increased. According to meteorologists, there may be light rain with thunder on Friday and Saturday.
Snowfall on high peaks of Pangi including Rohtang, yellow alert even today
High peaks of Pangi including Rohtang received fresh snowfall on Thursday amid a yellow alert in Himachal Pradesh. The weather remained clear in the plain districts. Due to sunshine, the maximum temperature of the state recorded an increase of three to four degrees from normal. On Friday also, a yellow alert has been issued for the thunderstorm, hailstorms, and rain in the plains and central mountainous areas of the state. There is a forecast of bad weather in the entire state till March 14. There is a possibility of clear weather in the state till March 15-17.
Higher peaks including Rohtang Pass received light snowfall on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Snowfall was recorded at 20 cm at Rohtang Pass, 15 at Koksar, and five cm at the North Portal and South Portal of Atal Tunnel Rohtang. At present, the administration has kept Atal Tunnel Rohtang closed to tourists because of bad weather.

PK Saha, Senior Meteorologist, Bhopal Center of the India Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain at different places in Gwalior, Chambal, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Hoshangabad and Sagar divisions of the state in the next 24 hours.
