At the same time, there was moderate snowfall in the plains of Kashmir, while there was heavy snowfall in the higher areas. In the Jammu division too, a lot of snow has fallen in the high-altitude areas.

During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snow may occur over the Western Himalayas and will reduce significantly thereafter. At the same time, light to moderate rain is possible in parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar.

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and snowfall are possible in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Light rain is possible in East Assam. Dense to very dense fog may occur in different parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. Dense fog may occur in parts of Odisha and Northeast India.
