Before attending this meeting, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh said, "We sincerely hope that the farmers will end the movement keeping a positive mind."
According to sources in the news agency, the government is also ready to give a written guarantee to the farmers to continue the minimum support price (MSP) and amend the provisions of the agricultural bills to which the farmers have objected. But, the farmers are adamant on the demand to withdraw all three laws.
The farmer said - today it will be just a matter of repealing the law
The farmers said before the meeting that the government was repeatedly giving dates. In such a situation, all the organizations have decided that today is the last day of talks. Kisan United Front chief Rampal Singh said that today they will come through a cross-border battle, there will not be a daily meeting. There will be nothing else in the meeting today, only to repeal the laws.
