No one can stop CAA from being implemented: Amit Shah
In Bengal, Amit Shah mentioned the Citizenship Amendment Act while targeting CM Mamata Banerjee. He bluntly said that no one can stop the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act because it is the law of the country. He accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of misleading people on this issue.
What did Amit Shah say about the Bengal Assembly elections?
Speaking at a BJP event organized in Bengal, he said, "We have to work to form the BJP government in West Bengal after the next assembly elections. BJP government in Bengal means an end to infiltration, cow smuggling, and religiously persecuted people through CAA. Will have to be granted citizenship."
Amit Shah targeted CM Mamata Banerjee
Taking on Mamata Banerjee, Amit Shah said, "Sometimes, she tries to mislead people, refugees as to whether CAA will be implemented in the country or not. I want to say this clearly that CAA is against the country." There is law and no one can stop its implementation. This is our party's commitment."
Let us tell you that Mamata Banerjee-led TMC is opposing the CAA, which was passed by the Parliament in 2019. The promise of implementing CAA was the main election plank of the BJP in the last Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
